Seedlings Institute for Educational Leaders

The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, in partnership with the Seedlings Foundation, is excited to offer this unique opportunity for districts seeking to join the movement to build emotionally intelligent school communities in Connecticut and New York. Seedlings Institute for Educational Leaders is a 3-day leadership development institute for Superintendents, Directors, and Network Heads designed to increase their knowledge of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) as a pathway to becoming stronger leaders of change in their education community. It is a unique opportunity to enhance emotional intelligence skills and learn how to create system-wide structures to infuse SEL. Through a generous grant from the Seedlings Foundation, we are excited to convene district leaders for this immersive and rejuvenating experience. This will be an opportunity to reflect and recharge with like-minded colleagues. Each district will have the option of selecting one model school to send to the Anchors of Emotional Intelligence Institute (AEII) so that the school can pilot the RULER Approach, our approach to emotional intelligence.
