Newburgh Enlarged City School District

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District is located on the west bank of the Hudson River, approximately 60 miles north of New York City and 80 miles south of Albany. With a mission statement to “inspire students to become tomorrow’s leaders beyond Academy Field,” the Newburgh Enlarged City School District serves approximately 11,000 students, grades K-12, from four neighboring municipalities: the City of Newburgh, the Town of Newburgh, New Windsor, and a small portion of Cornwall. The district currently consists of 6 elementary schools (four with Pre-K program), 3 K-8 schools, 2 middle schools and 1 high school.
